Their mission has only just begun! The exciting new trailer for the Disney+ returns to a galaxy far, far away as STAR WARS The Mandalorian Season 2 follows the escapades of a bounty hunter and his charge battling the odds!
The adventure was just getting started. At the conclusion of the First Season of the hit Disney+ Original Series STAR WARS The Mandalorian set in George Lucas’ worlds a long time ago, our hero Din Djarin, or “Mando” to his friends, had accepted his new role as the guardian of The Child, a mysteriously Force-sensitive orphan that has drawn the attention of several factions, including remnants of the defeated Empire. Starring Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, the series is set in the post-Endor Battle era of the New Republic. Wearing the tribal armor of the bounty hunter culture, the series capitalized on the instant connectivity to the franchise, but under the careful guile of creator Jon Favreau became a pop-culture hit!
Resigned to care for The Child which bears a strikingly adorable similarity to the Jedi Master, Yoda, and is gifted with powers it is still discovering, the hunter is now the guardian and is on a trajectory to find its home. In the Season 2 trailer just released, it is implied that the Mandalorian must seek out the Jedi, who are all but instinct now. It was revealed earlier this year that Rosario Dawson would be joining the cast, and would be bringing Ahsoka Tano to life on screen. The character became a fan-favorite and a central figure in the animated STAR WARS The Clone Wars series. The addition of that heroine will further root the Original Series inside established canon, which has added to its appeal with audiences.
