For many it’s the anticipating the most welcomed moment of the season. The weather begins to warm up and attitudes welcome the reprieve from the cold weather; the sun begins to warm our skin, heightening our senses and making us open all energic reception -- and then it happens! The Song of the Summer its the airwaves and all it right with the world! Even though everything at the moment couldn't be the furthest from normal, with COVID-19 taking a toll on the world and altering the shape of all social interactivities, this is one constant.
The pop-music landscape had appeared all but succumbed to the coronavirus pandemic. Most convention gatherings and music festivals were among the first casualties as efforts escalated to protect everyone from the viral threat. Among some of the artists that had re-emerged on the field was Lady Gaga who gave fans the first taste of new music with the dance-ready "Stupid Love". The first single from her upcoming sixth studio album Chromatica is a favored return to the thumping electro-pop that forged her early sound.

Having met her social duty, Lady Gaga eyed the pushed date for Chromatica and opted instead to release the album at the end of May, and followed up the debut single "Stupid Love" with a second release on Memorial Day Weekend. The track "Rain On Me" is a collaboration between Lady Gaga and fellow pop-diva Ariana Grande. The track is produced by BloodPop®, Burns, and Tchami, and its already kicking ass and taking names with its ultra-pop/dance enthusiasm.
The video accompanying the track is also perfectly packaged to coordinate with the feel and froth of the song itself; all high-energy and kinetic, the pair are fashioned-out to the nines and perform in synch to the anthemic beats of "Rain On Me". Although for Lady Gaga this sort of artistic performance is more of what fans had been hoping for - a return to her purer dance authenticity - for Grande it is the most she's been seen moving in a video and it's a good look!
