Trailer | Marvel Studios’ Teases SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME

The next Marvel Studios’ blockbuster is about to blow the boundaries off of the Marvel Cinematic Universe when SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME delves into parallel dimensions and the web-slinger finds himself nosediving into the multiverse with his most sinister foes!

This holiday season movie fans get to open up a very special package! With audiences once again venturing out and into the multiplex, the time is right for everyone’s favorite friendly neighborhood web-slinger to turn the page and face his next challenge. When last we left Peter Parker (Tom Holland) he had once again saved the planet and finally gotten the girl, but unfortunately for him, in one last-ditch effort to destroy him, the villainous Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhal) revealed his secret identity!

Now the world knows Spider-Man’s secret identity and it’s left a bullseye on Peter’s back!

There’s no escaping the glare of the spotlight and Peter faces the consequences of his actions in the next MCU cinematic installment: SPIDER-MAN: No Way Home due to hit theaters worldwide in December, and hotly setting the course into the next phase of the MCU which kicked off with Black Widow and continues with the Sept 3 release of the next blockbuster Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Rings. With the global pandemic affecting the release of most of the blockbuster theatricals in the 2021 season, it’s a good sign that the Marvel Studios films are returning to form.

In the film’s new trailer, Spider-Man is joined by Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) for a misadventure that lands our heroes in the Marvel Multiverse, which has been explored in the comic book before but has only recently become relevant in the cinematic universe. Giving in to the pressure of having his secret identity becoming public, Peter asks Strange to erase the knowledge, but the spell doesn’t exactly go as anticipated. Largely based on a story arc from the books where Peter makes a similar bargain with Mephisto, and it forever alters his existence.

This leap through the Marvel multiverse has also given the filmmakers and director Jon Watts an opportunity to travel through the cinematic rogues’ gallery of adversaries that Spidey has faced, as evidenced with the (re)appearance of Alfred Molina as the notorious Doctor Octopus from Spider-Man 2 (2004) which then starred Toby Maguire as the web-slinger.

And #StayTuned as we cover the lead-up to the film’s release with more news.

Marvel Studios’ SPIDER-MAN; NO WAY HOME | starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Benedict Cumberbatch will premiere in theaters on December 17, 2021.
