Trailer | WANDAVISION

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to blow-up as two of the big screen’s stars transition to the “small screen” in the Disney+ Original Series WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany.

The age of television just went widescreen! Marvel Studios’ first Original Series based in the MCU is finally preparing to launch on Disney+ and audiences are about to have their minds blown when WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany releases its first trailer! The fan-favorite couple has been an item since tying the not in the classic 1975 issue of Giant-Size Avengers #4 and has had one of the most storied relationships throughout their tenure as members of the Mighty Avengers.

When the pair debuted on the big screen in the Marvel Studios blockbuster Avengers: Age of Ultron it was only the beginning of their journey together, which continued to blossom into Avengers: Infinity War until as fate would have it, the Mad Titan, Thanos destroys the sentient android Vision (Bettany) and claims the gemstone that powers his existence. In the sequel Avengers: Endgame Wanda (Olsen) exacts her revenge and unleashes her formidable skills against Thanos in the final war.

It’s unclear at the conclusion of the film exactly what the fate of The Vision is, but as faithful comic book readers are well aware, the “sythezoid” has been resurrected many times and each time courted Wanda, up until she loses her mind and effectively disassembles the entire Avengers team! The cinematic version of The Scarlet Witch as portrayed by Olsen has also suggested that Wanda’s psyche is terribly fragile, especially after the unfortunate losses she’s had to endure.

Although the upcoming Disney+ Original Series doesn’t exactly reveal a lot of how the two come together, it would appear that they’ve reemerged living an idyllic existence influenced by classic television sitcoms.
